Julie Klimentos is a contemporary fine artist based in the UK. Her abstract paintings explore sensory experience, memory and the material process of painting. Shaped by years living in Egypt and South Africa, she uses layered surfaces, instinctive mark-making and organic forms to evoke the colours,
textures and feeling of place.
